Surprisingly, "The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars" was finished first, so instead of, I dunno, just waiting for "To the Rescue" to be finished and release both "To the Rescue" and "Goes to Mars" at the same time for the fans. Originally, "To the Recuse" was meant to come to home video first in 1998, with "Goes to Mars" to come after. These two sequels were made around the same time in the late 90's, "The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue" and "The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars," both of which were not intended for theater release. Now, the story behind these sequels is not as interesting, but if you want to know the story for this movie, I think it's best you learn this. Well, would you believe? There were sequels.

As I had also described, the backstory for this movie's production was far more interesting than the movie itself a film that would have used background created by computers while characters were traditionally hand-drawn, it would have been ground-breaking had Disney just grew a pair and made the movie. Not that long ago, I did a review of the cult favorite "The Brave Little Toaster," I was very critical of this "harmless family film" by describing it as being too dark for children but too childish for adults and describing the main characters as argumentative or annoying jerks. Hello and welcome to Nostalgiaviews, where my childhood comes to bite me back in the ass.
